- PrayerWake does not collect, sell or share any personal data.
- There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
- Everything you enter stays on your device. We have no servers that receive it.
- Your location is used only on your device, to calculate prayer times.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how the PrayerWake app for iOS, iPadOS and Android (“the app”) and this website handle information. The app is published by PrayerWake (“we”, “us”). If you have any question about privacy, contact us at mirzaabuzarmunir@gmail.com.
2. Information the app uses, and where it stays
The app works entirely on your device. It does not send any of the following to us or to anyone else.

Prayer times are calculated on your device with the open-source Adhan library. The app needs no internet connection and does not contact any server of ours.
3. Permissions
- Location: optional, used as described above. Never used in the background.
- Notifications: to show prayer alerts and reminders. These are scheduled on your device.
- Alarms (iOS 26 and later): to ring wake alarms through the system alarm, including in Silent mode.
- Alarms & reminders, full-screen alerts, run at startup (Android): so alarms ring on time, show over the lock screen, and are re-scheduled after your phone restarts.
- Vibration: for haptic feedback and vibrating alarms.
You can change any permission at any time in your device settings.
4. What we do not do
- We do not collect personal data, device identifiers or usage statistics.
- We do not use advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data.
- We do not ask you to create an account.
5. Backups, export and deletion
On iPhone and iPad, app data may be included in your device backups (iCloud or your computer) according to your own backup settings; those backups are handled by Apple and you. On Android, the app opts out of automatic cloud backup.
In the app, Settings → Your data lets you export a copy of your data as a JSON file (you choose where to share it) or delete all of it. Uninstalling the app also deletes its data from your device.
6. Third parties
The app contains no third-party services that receive your data. Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) process information about downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies. The app’s Android help screen can open an external website (dontkillmyapp.com) only if you tap it; that site has its own privacy policy.
7. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. Like any website, our hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address in server logs to deliver the page and keep it secure.
8. Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country).
9. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. All your data is on your device and under your control. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you have rights over personal data; contact us at mirzaabuzarmunir@gmail.com with any request or question.
10. Changes
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
